Meanwhile, Ethereum (ETH) rose 2.48% to $2,600.21, breaking through a key psychological level and trading between $2,452.56 and $2,615.90. Futures liquidations remained elevated at $117.65 million, driven largely by short liquidations. Market sentiment stayed in “Greed” at a Fear & Greed Index of 69, and long/short ratios for BTC and ETH hovered near equilibrium, reinforcing a broadly bullish but cautious market structure.
Top gainers in today’s rally included COOKIE/USDT (+36.05%), JELLYJELLY/USDT (+25.65%), and SCT/USDC(+25.56%), indicating sustained interest in meme coins and low-cap narratives. The broader market surge pushed the total crypto market cap above $3.43 trillion, bringing it within 8% of its all-time high.
Among today’s major headlines, El Salvador revealed that its national BTC holdings now show a floating profit of $386 million, with no coins sold to date. Metaplanet and Strategy—two key institutional holders—reported floating profits of $121 million and over $230 billion, respectively, further reinforcing the “institutional buy-and-hold” thesis.
In policy developments, the U.S. GENIUS Act passed its voting motion and has now entered the revision stage, marking a significant step toward national-level stablecoin regulation. Elsewhere, Solana Mobile unveiled a new trustless architecture for its Seeker device, introducing the native token SKR as part of its mobile-first Web3 stack.
